Day Eighteen
Friday, we left for normandy early in the morning. It was a really fun day. We went to Omaha beach and then the Pointe Du Hoc and then the D Day museum. It was amazing to see those two historical landmarks. There was a lot going on, being the anniversary on saturday. Lots of veterans and people in their military get up. I think the best part was the Pointe Du Hoc and being able to climb around all the German bunkers.
